Amherst County had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Mecklenburg County Phoenix. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

Amherst County walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-21, 20-25, 27-25, 25-8.

Defeat or not, Mecklenburg County got some senior leadership from Aubree Wilbourne and Kensley Neal. Wilbourne had 28 digs and three assists, while Neal had 12 digs and three aces.

Amherst County's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Mecklenburg County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
