The Charleston Trojans lost against the Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Charleston took a 57-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Charleston in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost five in a row.

Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Adam Rudibaugh, who scored 15 points. Luke Bonnstetter was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.

Charleston has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season. As for Mahomet-Seymour, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-13.

Charleston will take on the Rockets at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Rochester focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday. As for Mahomet-Seymour, they will head out on the road to square off against the Flaming Hearts at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
