Flag Football Game Preview: St. Mary's Saints vs. Cary Imps

The St. Mary's Saints will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Cary Imps at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither St. Mary's nor Cary posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Back in September, St. Mary's ended up a good deal behind Cardinal Gibbons and lost 26-12.

Meanwhile, Cary didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Sanderson on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 12-7 win. The Imps have beaten the Spartans the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Spartans has come to flipping the script.

St. Mary's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cary, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.
