Cardinal Mooney won the last time they faced Manatee and things went their way on Tuesday too. Cardinal Mooney came out on top against Manatee by a score of 7-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Cardinal Mooney got a great performance from Colton Hyde as he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits (and not a single walk). That's the fewest hits Hyde has allowed since back in February.

At the plate, Brady Zaun was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. Wyatt Hossenlopp was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Cardinal Mooney's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Manatee, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5.

As for Manatee, they will head out to challenge Winter Haven at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Manatee will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: Winter Haven will have lost four straight heading into Thursday's matchup.
