Recap: Manchester Valley Mavericks vs. Harford Tech Cobras

Manchester Valley had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Harford Tech Cobras by a score of 5-4 on Friday. Manchester Valley was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Harford Tech apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2018.

For Harford Tech's part, their win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was CJ Scism, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

The victory got Harford Tech back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manchester Valley will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Aberdeen at 4:30 p.m. on April 2nd. As for Harford Tech, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Edgewood at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
