After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Saint James, Handley was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 10-6 win over the Ranburne Bulldogs. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Brayden Watkins, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last eight matchups. Keira Addison was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Handley's record is now 15-19-1. As for Ranburne, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Handley will welcome Benjamin Russell at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ranburne, they will be playing at home against Wellborn at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
