Softball Recap: Central Valley Warriors vs. Shenango Wildcats

Central Valley extended their losing streak to five on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 2-5 in the process. They came up short against the Shenango Wildcats, falling 9-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

As for Shenango, they now have a winning record of 10-9. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by eight runs or more this season.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Brianna Aluisia, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Cashlin Buckel, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Central Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shenango, they will venture away from home to take on Western Beaver at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
