Softball Recap: Central Valley Warriors vs. Hopewell Vikings
Central Valley came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 14-8 to the Hopewell Vikings. The loss put an end to the Warriors' undefeated start to the season.
Lacey Aikens put in work no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Aikens was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.
