The Concord Raiders scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat ASPIRA Charter 97-54 at home. That looming 97-54 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Concord yet this season.
When it comes to explaining why ASPIRA Charter lost, one person who can't be blamed is Zy'aire Gibson. Despite the final result, he scored 32 points. That was a full 59.3% of ASPIRA Charter's points, marking the eighth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Devon Bolden, who scored nine points.
The win makes it two in a row for Concord and bumps their season record up to 6-8. As for ASPIRA Charter, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-9.
