Academy with Community Partners will head out to face Tri-City Christian Academy after giving up their first home loss of the season on Wednesday. Academy with Community Partners took a 53-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Skyline - Gila River.

Meanwhile, Tri-City Christian Academy entered their tilt with Mission Heights Prep on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Phantoms 87-56. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 69th, while the Phantoms are ranked 218th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tri-City Christian Academy is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.5 points per game. As for Academy with Community Partners, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-3.

Everything went Academy with Community Partners' way against Tri-City Christian Academy in their previous matchup on January 6th, as Academy with Community Partners made off with a 58-36 win.
