Volleyball Recap: Geraldine Comes Up Short

Geraldine was the 2-0 winner over Danville when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Hawks on Monday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Karlie Baker paced Geraldine's offense, picking up four kills. Baker got some help from Kennedy Mayfield and her five assists.

Geraldine's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Danville, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-7.

Geraldine has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against West Point on the 8th. Danville has also already played their next contest (against Ardmore), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
