Recap: Douglas Tigers vs. Carson Senators
In what's become a running theme this season, the Douglas Tigers gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Carson 63-29 at home. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Douglas had established a 29 point advantage.
Mckenzie Main went supernova for Douglas, scoring 19 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Main has scored all season. Logan Karwoski was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.
Despite the loss, Carson saw an underclassman step up: Lillian Tuner scored four points.
Douglas is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. As for Carson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-17.
Douglas will be playing in front of their home fans against McQueen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Douglas is facing McQueen at the right time seeing as McQueen is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Carson, they will head out on the road to take on Reed at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Carson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 on Friday.
