Volleyball Game Preview: Crestwood Knights vs. Lakewood Gators

Crestwood is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Lakewood a nine-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Crestwood Knights will be playing at home against the Lakewood Gators at 7:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Crestwood lost 3-0 to Darlington on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-18, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Lakewood came up short against Hartsville on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-6, 25-4.

Lakewood's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Crestwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-15.

Crestwood beat Lakewood 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Gators have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
