Volleyball Recap: Fremont's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Fremont can bid farewell to their five-match losing streak thanks to their match on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the MacDonald Condor. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Fremont got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 36-34, 24-26, 25-17.

Zoe Shie had an outrageously good game as she had 14 digs and five aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September of 2024.

Shie wasn't the only good servers: Fremont was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 7-15. As for MacDonald, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16-1 record this season.

Fremont didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Lynbrook on the 15th. As for MacDonald, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Wilcox on the 15th.
