Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Beaver walked away with it. They blew past the Grand County Red Devils 59-16 on Friday. The Beavers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Grand County saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Gemma Phillips posted three points and six boards.

Beaver has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38 points. This is the second loss in a row for Grand County and nudges their season record down to 14-11.

Beaver has already played their next contest, a 57-49 win against Duchesne on the 22nd. Grand County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
