Softball Recap: Agricultural Science Comes Up Short

If Agricultural Science was riding high fresh off their 11-0 takedown of Goode STEM Academy on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cyclones fell 6-1 to the Victoria Soto Wolves on Thursday.

Agricultural Science saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abigail Schied, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI. Siobhan O'Brien also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Agricultural Science's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Victoria Soto, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4-1 record this season.

While Agricultural Science had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
