Volleyball Recap: Seneca Triumphs

Seneca proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Westside Rams. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bobcats have posted since August 26th.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Seneca who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 19-25, 25-23.

Seneca's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Westside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 20-10-1.

Coincidentally, Seneca and Westside will both be playing Pendleton the next time they take the court. The Bobcats will host the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Rams will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
