Baseball Game Preview: Providence Academy vs. Northeast Eagles

Providence Academy will be taking part in a tournament against the Northeast Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Providence Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Northeast will be coming in after a loss.

Providence Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 12-2 margin over Christ School.

Meanwhile, Northeast came up short against Clarksville Academy on Friday, falling 7-1. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Northeast saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cameron Skaggs, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases. Shamad Parker also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
