Softball Recap: Cedarville Takes a Loss

Cedarville fell victim to Booneville and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Bearcats, falling 19-0. The Pirates just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row.

Cedarville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Booneville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Cedarville and Cossatot River will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 4:30 p.m. on April 1. As for Booneville, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Booneville Bearcats face off against Bigelow Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on the 31st. Bigelow has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.87 runs per game on average), something Booneville will no doubt try to take advantage of.
