She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, earning one RBI and two runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024.
In other batting news, Ava Lanter was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Aviana Ramos was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI.
Winchester Community kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Winchester Community has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.2 runs over those games. As for Muncie Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
