Volleyball Recap: Avant Garde Academy Comes Up Short

Avant Garde Academy and Miami Country Day squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Avant Garde Academy had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Spartans. If the Sharks were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Spartans when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Avant Garde Academy's loss dropped their record down to 18-4. As for Miami Country Day, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Avant Garde Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Miami Country Day, they will face off against Chaminade-Madonna at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight.
