Volleyball Recap: Anna Bunce's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Trinity over Hayfork + How To Watch

Trinity was the 3-0 winner over Hayfork when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolves took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Timberjacks on Tuesday. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Trinity started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-20.

Several Wolves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Anna Bunce, who had 20 kills, 11 digs, and two aces. Bunce has been hot, having posted six or more kills the last eight times she's played. Another player making a difference was Claire Cox, who had eight kills, seven digs, and three aces.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Hayfork, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Trinity will face off against St. Bernard's at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hayfork, they will square off against Butte Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
