Football Recap: Thomas Jefferson Starts Season with Win at Home + How To Watch

Thomas Jefferson gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They strolled past the Norcom Greyhounds with points to spare, taking the game 14-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Vikings were the (much) better team in the second half.

Daeron Ferguson had a dynamite game, rushing for 100 yards and one touchdown on only 11 carries.

Looking ahead, Thomas Jefferson will square off against Armstrong (Kennedy) at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give the Vikings their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Norcom, they will challenge Petersburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
