Baseball Game Preview: San Joaquin Memorial Panthers vs. Dinuba Emperors

The San Joaquin Memorial Panthers will be taking part in a tournament against the Dinuba Emperors at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The last three games San Joaquin Memorial has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

San Joaquin Memorial fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Sierra Pacific on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Golden Bears by a score of 4-3.

Meanwhile, Dinuba was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 7-4 to Mt. Whitney.

Matthew Guido was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double.

San Joaquin Memorial now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Dinuba, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
