Softball Recap: High Tech SD Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact High Tech SD can now relate to. They fell just short of the Crawford Colts by a score of 11-9 on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Colts this season, with their most recent defeat being a 21-13 loss back in March.

Julia Melchor was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That double was her first of the season. Elise Joseph was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for High Tech SD and nudges their season record down to 10-12. As for Crawford, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-15.

As of now, neither High Tech SD nor the Colts have any future games scheduled.
