Aynor waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They didn't even let the Marlboro County Bulldogs on the board, marking their second-straight 14-0 shutout. Considering the Blue Jackets have won 16 matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Aynor pushed their record up to 23-2 with the victory, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Marlboro County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 14 of their last 16 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-19 record this season.
