Baseball Recap: Tri-Valley Vikings vs. Fieldcrest Knights
Tri-Valley was the 9-6 winner over Fieldcrest when they last played one another back in April of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Tri-Valley Vikings fell just short of the Fieldcrest Knights by a score of 2-1 on Friday. Tri-Valley has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Grayson Coughlin made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with a stolen base and an RBI.
Tri-Valley now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Fieldcrest, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
Tri-Valley will be playing at home against Eureka at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fieldcrest, they will head out on the road to square off against Ridgeview at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
