Baseball Recap: Celina Bulldogs vs. Ansonia Tigers
Celina proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 15) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Ansonia Tigers a 2-0 shutout. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since April 3rd.
Not much got past Brady Steinbrunner, who gave up just three hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Ansonia off the board. Celina is undefeated when Steinbrunner posts eight or more strikeouts, but 8-10 otherwise.
