Baseball Game Preview: Alcorn Central Bears vs. Booneville Blue Devils

For the second straight game, Alcorn Central will face off against Booneville. The Bears will square off against the Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Alcorn Central will bounce into Friday's match after beating Booneville, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Bears walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Blue Devils on Tuesday.

Jarrett Thomas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on six hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
