Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Maple Grove). Everything went their way against the Coon Rapids Cardinals on Sunday as the Maple Grove Crimson made off with an 88-64 win. Given the Crimson's advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 64th, while the Cardinals are ranked 236th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Maple Grove is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points per game. As for Coon Rapids, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
