Taylor Twitchell (2027) spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up 15 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Rashani Sackey (2026) was incredible, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Suki Gibbons (2027), who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Menchville lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Menchville's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games.
