Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pleasant Grove). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Westlake Thunder a 15-0 shutout on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Vikings, who have now won 13 matchups in a row.

Mason Hawk Henry was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, R.J. Wilson was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Nash Clement was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

Pleasant Grove always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Westlake only posted an OBP of .312.

Pleasant Grove pushed their record up to 14-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for Westlake, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Pleasant Grove will have a chance to go back-to-back against Westlake: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
