Softball Game Preview: Osseo Orioles vs. Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm

The Osseo Orioles will face off against the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses dating back to last season for Osseo and ten for Sauk Rapids-Rice dating back to last season.

Osseo fell victim to Rogers and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Royals. That's two games in a row now that the Orioles have lost by exactly four runs.

Alayna Carmon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on two hits.

Meanwhile, Sauk Rapids-Rice lost 12-2 to Sartell-St. Stephen on Thursday.

Osseo's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Sauk Rapids-Rice, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
