Softball Recap: Pocahontas Find Success

Pocahontas took an eight-run loss the last time they faced off against Webster City, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Indians came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lynx on Thursday, sneaking past 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Pocahontas' victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Webster City, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Coming up, Pocahontas will venture away from home to square off against Sioux Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians are facing the Rebels at the right time seeing as the Rebels are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Webster City, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Clear Lake at 5:30 p.m. The Lynx will need to watch out since the Lions have now posted at least ten runs in their last five contests.
