Volleyball Recap: Willcox Comes Up Short at Home Against Benson

Willcox unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 3-1 to the Benson Bobcats on Thursday. The Cowboys were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 19-25, 25-16, 25-22.

The victory got Benson back to even at 1-1.

Willcox has already played their next matchup (against San Miguel), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Benson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Pima on the 2nd.
