Preview: U-32 vs. Bellows Falls
U-32 have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. Bellows Falls and U-32 go head to head at 7:00 PM in their first playoff contest of the year. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close contest.
Things haven't been easy for U-32, and their match the last time the two teams met only extended their streak of losses to three. They took a 28-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bellows Falls. On a positive note, senior Martin Mcmahon put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 113 yards and 2 touchdowns. Mcmahon has now scored at least one touchdown in the past six games.
Meanwhile, Bellows Falls were able to grind out a solid victory over U-32, winning 36-28.
Bellows Falls's win lifted them to 6-2 while U-32's loss dropped them down to 4-4. We'll see if Bellows Falls' success rolls on or if U-32 are able to steal their positive momentum.
