Weddington is a perfect 3-0 against Independence since August of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Warriors will welcome the Patriots at 7:00 p.m.

Weddington is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Marvin Ridge just ended the team's six-match winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to the Mavericks.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-7, 25-12.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Independence rose to the challenge on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Titans.

Weddington's defeat dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Independence, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Weddington beat Independence 2-0 when the teams last played back in August. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Patriots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
