Danville is 6-1 against Mount Carmel since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Danville Ironmen will take on the Mount Carmel RED TORNADOES at 7:30 p.m.

Danville is headed into Tuesday's match hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They came up short against Shamokin Area two weeks ago, falling 71-47.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mount Carmel had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 67-54. The RED TORNADOES haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Mount Carmel's win came from a few key players Danville will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jude Lazicki, who on his way to 30 points and five rebounds. The game was his tenth in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen Delaney, who posted 16 points and eight assists.

Mount Carmel smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Mount Carmel pushed their record up to 19-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Danville, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-7.

Danville couldn't quite finish off Mount Carmel in their previous meeting back in January and fell 45-43. Can Danville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
