Basketball Recap: Paw Paw Extends Home Winning Streak to 21

Paw Paw had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 62-58 W against the Sturgis Trojans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 70-61 back in January.

Paw Paw's win was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points over those games. As for Sturgis, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season.
