Baseball Recap: Renaissance Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cass Tech, Renaissance was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Bendle Tigers 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Phoenix have posted since April 22, 2025.

Renaissance has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. Having lost for the first time this season, Bendle fell to 3-1.

Renaissance has already played their next matchup, an 11-6 win against Eastern on the 25th. As for Bendle, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-3 victory against Hamady on the 27th.
