West Scranton won the last time they faced Valley View and things went their way on Monday too. The Invaders walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Cougars. The win was some much needed relief for the Invaders as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Jason Selemba spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Mason Lesh, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Cole, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
