Aurora came tearing into Tuesday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.9 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 63-59 W against the Seward Bluejays. Given the Huskies' advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 25th, while the Bluejays are ranked 161st) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Aurora got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brooks Handrup out in front who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Jaxon Slagle, who shot 58% from the field en route to 14 points and eight boards.

Aurora was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They are a perfect 12-0 when they've passed the ball that well.

Several Bluejays players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Karson Dyer, who went 6-for-9 to rack up 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bostyn Happ, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 16 points and five assists.

Aurora's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Seward, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Aurora has already played their next matchup, a 51-42 win against Crete on the 29th. As for Seward, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 68-41 victory against Lexington on the 31st.
