Baseball Recap: Dakota Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four games, Dakota finally came back down to earth on Friday. They fell just short of the Brother Rice Warriors by a score of 2-1. The Cougars have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Dakota's loss dropped their record down to 13-5-1. As for Brother Rice, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8-1 record this season.

Dakota wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 7-5 win against Lake Orion on the 3rd. As for Brother Rice, they have also already played their next game, a 6-3 victory against St. Mary's Prep on the 3rd.
