Basketball Recap: Russia Extends Winning Streak to Three

Russia entered their tilt with Houston on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the Houston Wildcats 44-28. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 50-18 back in December of 2024.

Russia is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Houston, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Russia will face off against New Knoxville at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Russia is facing New Knoxville at the right time seeing as New Knoxville is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Houston has already played their next contest (against Milton-Union), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
