There's no place like home for West Point, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Danville Hawks on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

West Point easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14.

Laklin Shadix paced West Point's offense, picking up five kills. Shadix got some help from Patton Fell and her seven assists.

West Point's victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Danville, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, West Point and Danville will both be playing Geraldine the next time they take the court. The Hawks will head out to face the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
