Nashville came out on top against O'Fallon on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run seventh inning. The Hornets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-8 victory over the Panthers. That's more bragging rights for the Hornets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Nashville has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-18 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.2 runs over those games. As for O'Fallon, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-15.

Nashville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-7 loss against Wesclin on the 16th. As for O'Fallon, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-1 victory against Collinsville on the 15th.
