Basketball Recap: Olean Takes a Loss

Olean and Lackawanna squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Olean had to settle for second. They came up short against the Lackawanna Steelers, falling 58-38. The Huskies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Steelers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Olean's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Lackawanna, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lackawanna beat Olean by a score of 58-38 on Wednesday.
