Volleyball Recap: Tabiona Falls Short of St. Joseph in the Playoffs

Tabiona and St. Joseph squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Tabiona had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jayhawks. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Jayhawks this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-1 defeat back in September.

Kaidence Pippy paced Tabiona's offense, picking up eight kills. Pippy got some help from Kayela Gines and her ten assists. Bella Gines controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

This is the second loss in a row for Tabiona and nudges their season record down to 18-14. As for St. Joseph, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Tabiona nor St. Joseph have any future games scheduled.
