Volleyball Recap: Fresno Christian's Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games + How To Watch

Fresno Christian came into Thursday's contest having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Fowler Redcats by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Fresno Christian walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-15, 16-25, 25-19.

Danielle Arndt was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 18 digs and four assists. Those four assists gave her a new career-high.

Fresno Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive matches.

Despite the loss, Fowler still got an impressive performance from McKenzie Monis, who had five digs and three aces. Stevie Cordova also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Fresno Christian's win bumped their record up to 12-16. As for Fowler, their loss dropped their record down to 14-9-1.

Looking ahead, Fresno Christian will be taking part in a tournament against Cabrillo at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Fowler, they are taking a road trip to face off against Riverdale at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
