Nipomo had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the St. Joseph Knights on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Titans as they're now sitting on three straight.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 18-25, 25-21, 25-17.

Nipomo found their leader in sophomore Tasi Maumausolo Matagi, who had 14 digs and four assists.

Nipomo's victory bumped their record up to 25-6. As for St. Joseph, they moved to 15-11 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Coming up, Nipomo will host Santa Ynez at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Joseph does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
